DESCRIPTION / TASTING NOTE
The grapes of this wine are produced in the “Stèfen 1624” vineyard and are vinificated recalling the ancient tradition of drying the grapes and refining the wine in small oak casks. The result is a dry wine which improves with a long ageing. very deep ruby colour, with garnet hues, intense scents of ripe wild fruit and of violet, full body, with clear notes of ripe cherry and blackberry.
ABOUT PRODUCER
The De Stefani family originates in Refrontolo, a little village in Veneto Italy. On the hills of Conegliano Valdobbiadene Unesco World heritage site, in 1866 the founder Valeriano De Stefani individualized a unique terroir to produce great wines. Alessandro De Stefani, fourth generation, together with his wife Chiara, produces wines with the aim of excellence. The key principles that guide them are a very natural philosophy, old vines with a very high density and focus on the native grapes of their land, in order to make wines that can convey emotions even after decades from their creation.
