Doudet-Naudin - Chassagne Montrachet 1er Cru - Clos Saint Jean

DESCRIPTION / TASTING NOTE

This great village is located at the Southeast place of the Côte d’Or, between the villages of Puligny-Montrachet and Santenay. It is well known for its prestigious white wines (it produces some elegant red wines too). The white wines extend on 187 hectares on this village. Golden pale and limpid colour with some light and green nuances. The mineral and delicate nose shows some nuances of white flowers. All the elements of a great white wine are here: Richness, delicate and very fine taste, mixed and ripped fruits, spice, very well dominated tannins.

ABOUT PRODUCER

Founded in 1849 by Albert Brenot in Savigny-lès-Beaune, Doudet-Naudin is one of the oldest Burgundy wine Maisons. In 1933 it was acquired by the Doudet family, who have developed and expanded the Maison while preserving its fundamental values: respect for traditions and excellence. Christophe Rochet, the current head of Doudet-Naudin, is committed to maintaining the values of this well-respected Maison while restructuring it.
