DESCRIPTION / TASTING NOTE
A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot with a touch of Cabernet Franc, this is a rich and silky wine. The palate is well-balanced where ripe black fruits combine with roasted coffee notes. This classic and harmonious Margaux will be a great partner to all meats, fine fish dishes and mature cheeses.
Jacques Boyd, the second wine of Château Boyd-Cantenac, 3er cru, bears the estate’s familiar hallmarks of elegance and finesse. The fruit is processed plot by plot, to preserve the individual fruit profile of certain plots which will blend well with other, more concentrated fruit. Jacques Boyd is lighter and fruitier than its big brother, but with no less elegance or finesse. This wine can be enjoyed young, but also has the potential to age well for up to ten years.
