Freixenet - Cordon Rosado - Brut Piccolo

DESCRIPTION / TASTING NOTE

Rosado is our Spanish word for Rosé and is the cava for those of you who like their sparklers soft, smooth and … pink! To look at, it is bright strawberry in colour with plenty of bubbles, which create a lovely white crown at the top of your glass. A delicious aroma of flowers and red fruits, with hints of the more exotic grenadine, dried figs and dates. And in the mouth, it delivers a fresh, light and soft taste of red fruits.

ABOUT PRODUCER

Over 150 years ago, in the small Catalan town of Sant Sarduní d´Anoia the Sala and Ferrer families were well-known winemakers of quality wines. At the beginning of the 20th century the families were joined by the marriage of Dolores Sala and Pedro Ferrer Bosh. The young couple formed an unrivalled team, Dolores ahead of her time in detailed winemaking knowledge and Pedro, a bright young entrepreneur. Together they succeeded in gaining popularity and reputation for their wines and their hard work and determination was the start of Freixenet as we know it today, the largest producer of traditional method sparkling wine worldwide.
